Description

This research project focuses on developing a bilingual (English and Spanish) digital health intervention to support healthy aging among Hispanic/Latino older adults. The goal is to better understand their needs, experiences, and preferences related to stress management, problem-solving, mobility, and overall well-being.

The project uses a community-engaged approach to explore how digital health tools can be more accessible, culturally appropriate, and useful for older adults. Research activities may include literature reviews, developing and reviewing interview guides, organizing qualitative data, and analyzing feedback from participants and healthcare providers.

Under the guidance of the faculty mentor, the graduate team leader will coordinate research activities and mentor two undergraduate researchers. Together, the team will contribute to understanding the needs of older adults and identifying ways to improve the digital health intervention.
