Description

I study the determinants and effects of early fundraising on candidate selection in Congressional Primaries. Specifically, I focus on small and large individual donors and their contributions to candidates, while controlling for ideology, district partisanship and candidate qualities, like education, previous office holder, gender and other demographics.
