Description:
This project seeks to explore and experiment with a variety of digital and traditional tools and production methods to produce short experimental digital theatre work or supplemental materials and analyze the accessibility of digital tools for theatrical production. Goal[s]: - To produce a short experimental digital theatrical work. - To explore adaptation and/or devising as digital collaboration. - To experiment with digital and traditional tools and methods of production. Potential Tasks: - Explore and help to select script/scenes. - Adapt and/or devise scenes for digital [re]production. - Experiment with a variety of tools both digital and traditional towards creating production elements. - Experiment with designing, making, and collaborating on theatre and performance digitally. Preferred Qualifications: - All levels welcome, this is a project for exploration and learning together. - Dramaturgically motivated, or interested in some way in dramaturgy, world building, and script analysis in theatre. - Interested in learning about and playing with digital tools. - Comfortable and interested in experimenting with production work online, potentially including as a performer (broadly construed) for experimental purposes. - Interest in no- or low-budget production practices and found-space or fit-to-space experimental theatre.
