Description:

· Completing a body of work celebrating the versatility of tattooing as a form of self-expression/extension and self-reclamation. · Meeting once a week - 2-3 hours per week · Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and communicate with the project leader about absences or other important information. · Volunteers needed for Fall semester 2025 · Volunteers needed for researching books and peer-reviewed articles on the topic of tattooing (from traditional/decorative to cosmetic to medical). · Volunteers needed for art prep, including but not limited to: - applying gesso to surfaces - sanding surfaces - light underpainting - hardware installation - light studio clean up · search for appropriate calls to artists for this project · assist in note-taking and other organizational tasks as needed |
