Description:
This longitudinal study will observe children with dyslexia at the Park School (located in Winter Park, FL) to study obesogenic behaviors (physical activity, sedentary/screen time, diet, and sleep) and associated health outcomes. Timeline: Recruitment of study participants began May 2025. Currently, in August 2025, the team is conducting in-person BMI and CRF measurements (which will repeat in December). We will be observing 14 days of activity in October 2025. Finally, we conduct analysis of the data collected and determine final results. This project will be completed in May 2026.
