Description:
Our project team works on a qualitative study aims to explore how people with lived experiences (PLE) of homelessness meaningfully engage in decision-making processes in Central Florida. The two primary research questions are: (1) What barriers and incentives shape PLE engagement in decision-making processes? and (2) To what extent do they perceive decision-making channels as empowering and responsive to their needs? These research questions will be examined through focus group interviews with PLE recruited from the Christian Service Center, a day shelter in Orlando, Florida.
