CNC/Manufacturing Process Lead Hands-on with Haas VF-2, tooling, workholding, cutting parameters, and troubleshooting. Ensures experiments are safe, repeatable, and industrially relevant. IIoT / Controls Engineer Comfort with MTConnect and OPC UA, edge gateways, time-sync (NTP/PTP), buffering, and sensor wiring (triaxial accelerometers, CT power meters, thermocouples). Basic PLC/controller familiarity. Physics/Modeling (FMU) Engineer Modelica/Simulink/AMESim, FMI/FMU export, parameter identification, residual generation, and co-simulation with live data. Data/ML for RUL Python (NumPy/Pandas), feature engineering for vibration/power/temperature, sequence models (LSTM/GRU) or gradient boosting, calibration/uncertainty, and MLOps (versioning, reproducibility). Cyber/Integrity & Anomaly Detection ICS data quality checks, plausibility rules, one-class/autoencoder methods, sensor coherency checks, and simple security hardening for the data path. Optimization/RL for Scheduling OR background (heuristics/CP/MIP) plus RL (policy design, reward shaping). Can connect predicted RUL to maintenance windows and OEE objectives. |
