About Project Listings

The Knight Research Scholars Program follows a rolling recruitment model. Research projects may begin accepting team members at any point during the academic year, regardless of how far along the semester is. Projects remain open until the team leader’s desired team size is reached.

Research activity is not tied to the recruitment start date. While the semester listed reflects when recruitment begins, the actual start of research can occur at any time, based on the team leader’s timeline and project needs.

Each project listing includes:

• The semester in which recruitment begins
• The number of available spots for prospective team members
• Requirements to join as a team member

Undergraduate students should contact the listed team leader directly to ask questions about the project, share their resume, and to apply as a team member.

Once a team leader has filled all available spots, it will be moved to the “Full Teams” section below.
